ABSTRACT has been actively involved in the revolution that has seen financial services institutions redevelop their approach to Conduct Risk. Our solution to this challenge is our PROTECT programme which provides an end-to-end framework that stimulates and engages colleagues to appreciate risk in a whole new context.
The PROTECT programme has been carefully designed to help delegates think through the root causes of conduct issues, not solely to deal with the symptoms associated with poor customer outcomes. Put simply, prevention is infinitely better than cure in this space. Importantly, we focus upon competence, attitude and the culture within organisations, in order to align the right mind-set toward Conduct Risk, so that it becomes an operational standard to be proud of and not just an inconvenient pre-requisite to doing business.
