ABSTRACT has been shortlisted for the Inclusive Awards!

Nick Goddard

ONE of the UK's most anticipated diversity awards celebrations has announced its shortlist for the 2022 ceremony. And we are pleased to announce that ABSTRACT has been shortlisted in the category for the D&I Consultancy Award. This is the first time these awards have been run since 2019, due to the pandemic, when Sue Liburd MBE DL (Non-Executive Director at ABSTRACT) was announced as 'Champion of Inclusion'.

This year, on December 1st Inclusive Awards will once again celebrate those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve the lives of others in workplaces and communities around them. Inclusive Awards know first-hand about the individuals who work tirelessly to remove barriers and put diversity at the very heart of everything they do. And an elite pick and mix of diversity ambassadors will gather in Midland Hotel in Manchester - reuniting a spectacular array of equality leaders.

A panel of judges including award-winning Computer Scientist Professor Sue Black OBE, and Conscious Inclusion Specialist Jiten Patel recently gathered to finalise the widely anticipated shortlist.

This year also marks the first ever Diversity Power List, honouring 50 of the most profound champions of inclusion, diversity professionals and D&I Leaders across the UK. Those recognised will be revealed at the ceremony on 1st December for making a positive difference to the lives of others, creating an impact within their industry sector, and showcasing outstanding dedication in their respective fields.

Furthermore, The Inclusive Awards are working in partnership with the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers, the only index of its kind, to unveil the definitive list of the nation’s most inclusive companies at the ceremony.

With the increasing richness of diversity in Britain, the Inclusive Awards recognise employers that unite workforces and challenge discrimination, applauding those for their fight against inequality.

Paul Sesay, CEO and Founder of the Inclusive Awards and National Diversity Awards, added;

"In difficult and challenging times, using the talent of a diverse workforce is more important than ever. Considering the diversity of your workforce and fostering an inclusive working environment can bring business benefits and provide a market advantage.” Sesay continues, “The Inclusive Awards continue to be an exceptional way to celebrate the courageous actions of individuals and organisations, who are already striving for inclusion. Let's celebrate the tremendous feats of our incredible shortlisted nominees, Congratulations to all!"

There is no doubt that the impact made by this prominent array of diversity patrons is unprecedented. We are proud that ABSTRACT has been recognised in this category, and wish good luck to everyone else who has been shortlisted. And we look forward to hearing the announcement of winners at The Midland Hotel, Manchester on 1st December.
